fittings....screw ups and of course typhoon

1 commentBoy...the typhoon No 9 on Friday really put a damper on things...screwed up our fitting schedule for the MasterCard Lux Week big time...girls supposedly to arrive Friday did not, and some even showed up Sunday afternoon....but like always, we bear with it with a grin and got through it. We were finally able to fit through.....6 brands in a day and a half....not an easy feat considering we were running on borrowed time and our fittings were a marathon of paper work, photo taking, tagging, and strong organization skills from my team of great assistants! We finally got through Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, DVF, Dorian Ho, Escada and Paul & Shark with not too much of a scratch...now that we are back on schedule and caught up with our fitting schedule...we are still faced with 5 fittings today....but I think we'll do fine....I hope.
Tomorrow is the opening show....a bit nervous...but I think we'll do OK. Still trying to learn the names of the girls....but we'll get the hang on it.
