• Madonna, birthdays, and best wishes

  Recently I was back in Vancouver visiting my family and ole friends and of course since Madge was in town doing her world tour, I really had to go!  It was the first time she's been in Vancouver....after all these years and if we were in the same city at the same time, it was fate that we should at least meet.....not meet face to face, but she way way up there on the stage and me way way down there in my seat.  But mind you, I was up and dancing away from the moment the music intro started that evening.  It was incredible...she really knows how to put on a show.  After waiting for what...20 years...I've finally got to see her live.

  Besides getting to see Madonna live, I was also lucky enough to get 2 days of sunshine...something very rare in the Fall season in Vancouver.  So we took a stroll down Stanley Park, the infamous nature park smacked right in the middle of the city with a great view of the North Shores and our lovely mountains! 

  It is times like this, I really miss my city.  Truely nowhere else in the world would I be able to see such trees, mountains and the sea at the same time.  And a climate that cannot be beat!

  It was my birthday last week...and for all those who have sent me messages either here or in facebook or by SMS, I thank you for keeping me in your heart......and for all those others....now I know if you we are friends or not!

  i always find it hard to accept the fact that friends one has gotten to know many years can one day for no reason turn around and stab you in the back...and you start wondering....what have i done to deserve this....quoting the pet shop boys.  and why do people turn on you behind your back but on the outside, still act as if nothing has happened..it is frightening because you will not know what the person will do to you again behind your back.  others tell me not to worry about it because really, i cannot be hurt much more then just getting a little peeved, but i guess it's the scorpio in me that wishes to stab back....the feeling of revenge is inevitable.

  luckily i fly off for a week...yes, again flying....and hopefully the calm and serene environment of vancouver will help me cool down.....and i will come back afresh and renewed and be ready to take revenge......

• parties.......

  Too many friends' birthday parties, dinners and lunches recently.......almost feels rediculous to be attending them everyday and night. But last night, went to 3 parties of a different sort. First started out at IFC Cuisine Cuisine for the Prato Fashion Show hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce with Gaile at the helm of the show..... Then after a quick bite, rushed out to Shaw Studios out in Tseung Kwan O for the Dsquare opening show and party......missed the show cuz we ate too slow, but bumped into a few friends whom I haven't seen in a long time. Also saw Lisa was there covering for Channel V..... then we went back to Central partying with the designers Dean and Dan.....at Dragon I and also bumping to Hins inside Dragon I for Vincy Wing Yee's birthday. He's a talented and sweet guy.....n didn't think I would bump into him at Dragon I of all places....I hardly go to bars and clubs!!

• sneaky peeks

  here's a sneaky peek at some of the stuff we've been playing around with lately.....will have another shoot this coming Saturday with Gaile.  Post those on when we are done.......

• Insignificant recluse

  ever feel insignificant and just wanna hide away from the world?  lately i've fallen into that state of mind.  after beeing busy for so many weeks with a whirlwind of projects and work...now that it has relatively quiet down a bit, giving myself a chance to sit down and catch my breath...and pretty soon my mind wanders and i start think about all the things that are missing in my life right now apart from work....then i start think about how insignificant i feel...a feeling that would periodically surface.  i guess i have too much time on my hands.  i'm writing this on a friday night as i lie around at home....no friends has called at all.....and yes, i'm here at home by myself on a friday night....really it's been a while now i have this solitude...but then i start to think to myself, oh my!  what a loser i am sitting alone at home on a friday night!

  but i have no urge to go out and see anyone really.  it's my hermit time....and really, there's no where i really wanna go.  i no longer do the bars and drinking marathons....this is a sign of aging?  mmmm....
