About Me

Patrice Poujol (Xin TianHu) is an independent Ireland based Producer who started writing and directing by making documentary films in India and Ireland in 2003. He has been a member of Filmbase and the Irish Film Institute as early as 2000. He has recently been sharing his time between film production and a PhD research on the Hong Kong and Mainland Film Industries and local audiences.

2009: 'The Other End of The Gun' (currently in post). Shot in Hong Kong. Featuring Kate Sullivan, Michael Pizzuto, Roger De Leon, Simon Yin, Lucas Griego, James Kenny, Juju Chan. Shot with Derrick Fong (DP) on HVX200 in HD. Edited by Jay Anderson on Final Cut Studio.

2008: 'Taste', a 15' short-film (Also Producer). Shot in Ireland featuring Mick Fitzgerald, Gerry Wade, Delphine Coudray and Adam Goodwin. Shot with Fabrizio Pasqualetto (DP) on Sony 7HE. Edited by Arnaud Rigaud on Final Cut Pro.

2007: 'Aurelia', an 8' short-film, shot in Ireland with Des Whelan (DP) with a Sony HD900, edited by Nicky Dunne on Avid Adrenaline, featuring Tim McDonnell (Focus Theatre).
