South Park Rocks my World yet again

Just finished watching one from season 11.  And I have to say that this is probably one of the funniest moments I've seen in a long time.  Can't seem to embed it for some reason but take a look at it.

The episode is called "apologies to Jesse Jackson".  Randy goes the rest of the episode apologizing for what he did.  The joke is not meant to b...Read more

Sad Letter

Alright, usually I don't read chain letters/emails, but I just happened to finish this one.  And what can I say..  it's a poem and it is pretty sad.  I don't mind bad luck, bad luck in love or good luck.  But I read this one and I just don't feel like being a heartless person today.  I took out the end btw, just so you won't feel the chain obligation.

I must be bad,

Zombie Kid

If you haven't heard of this yet.  It's quite the sensation.  I saw it for the first time just recently and I laughed out loud (RL LOL!(RL=real life)).  Anyways just wanted to share with everyone that hasn't seen this yet.  Cute kid.

My Demo Reel (Kinda)

This was made about 6/7 months ago in Beijing.  It was an audition tape that I used originally for a Dragon Tiger Gater series audition but I ended up using it for several different projects as well and now it's kind of my unofficial demo.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBSbL8HqncE If you're wondering about the unnecessary drama in the video, they didn't have sides to work with but they asked to see certain expressions.  I didn't wa...Read more

First Competition back

It's been months since I've trained properly and after a month back from China I went to my first competition in a long while.  Not that I've done very many.  For 6/7 years of training I've only done 6 tournaments.

The sport is Wushu.  If you are not familiar with this term, it is a Chinese performance Martial Art.  People always ask me if I jump kicked anyone in the head during and I tell them it's just forms/routines.

So I have to say that I was quite disappointed with the turnout.  The level of pa...Read more

South Park rocks my world

I've seen pretty much all episodes of south park available and it gets better every time.

When I first saw it, I was only mildly interested in the show.  It was just crude cartoons with even worse toilet humor.  But it never really hooked me in.  I would only watch it if it was on and I had nothing else to watch or do.

These last few seasons, the story, the characters and the humo...Read more

Tournament

So it's been awhile since I've trained at all.  But the weekend after next will be a tournament weekend.  There's a competition that my Wushu club will be participating in.  And even though I've been out of training, I'll be doing one or two events.

Preparations for competition aka. competition training is in progress.  We're putting in 6 days a week with a 4 hour intensive on Thanksgiving Holiday.  Friday we get off!  Except that I'm putting in some extra time to help choreograph a duo performance (form/fight) ...Read more

MacDonalds and Guitar Hero

Sometimes it's amazing the types of simple pleasures that life can offer you.

MacDonalds and Guitar Hero was all I needed for Halloween.  In recent years I have made large extravagant costumes and enjoyed the festivities like all festive people do, but this year I didn't have the time to plan and build (the best part) a decent costume.  Years prior to that, I was found trick or treating, until I found out I could get the same amount of candy I would take hours getting with 10 bucks at the local supermarket.  Less va...Read more

Entourage

I just finished season 4 of Entourage.  I remember seeing ads for it while I was still taking the bus way back in High School but I've never really had an interest in the show until Jimmy T introduced it to me in Hengdian and got me to watch the first few episodes.  Was hooked after that.  As it is with so many series like it, especially when you have the collection in front of you, not just watching week to week, you can never be satisfied with those cliffhanger endings.  And so day in and day out, whenever there was time, it would be entourag...Read more

First job in China - The White Crane Chronicles

So I guess I'll start off this blog with the first big job under my belt.  The project is called the White Crane Chronicles.  It's of the action genre and the first part of the story is of the Caucasian Wudang Master, Crane (David Carradine), seeking out to avenge his teacher/mentor/master.  It is a chronicle so that means that the story of Crane (actual historical figure) will continue with sequels if the show does well.  I play a young Wudang with Crane as my mentor.

The show is starring David...Read more
