When someone's mind is set ... it's hard to change it.
On a lighter note, I had a profound discussion about religion/philosophy and life with one of the development managers.  It explained part of the reason why I've been confused most my life.  It's funny how context and points of view play a huge role of what's people think is right and wrong.

    Divorce Song

And when I asked for a separate room
    It was late at night
And we'd been driving since noon
    But if I'd known
How that would sound to you
I would have stayed in your bed
For the rest of my life
Just to prove I was right
That it's harder to be friends than lovers
And you shouldn't try to mix the two
Cause if you do it and you're still unhappy
Then you know that the problem is you

And it's true that I stole your lighter
And it's also true that I lost the map
But when you said that I wasn't worth talking to
I had to take your word on that
    But if you'd known
How that would sound to me
You would have taken it back
And boxed it up and buried it in the ground
Boxed it up and buried it in the ground
Boxed it up and buried it in the ground
Burned it up and thrown it away

You put in my hands a loaded gun
And then told me not to fire it
When you did the things you said were up to me
And then accused me of trying to fuck it up
But you've never been a waste of my time
    It's never been a drag
So take a deep breath and count back from ten
    And maybe you'll be alright

    And the license said
You had to stick around until I was dead
But if you're tired of looking at my face I guess I already am
But you've never been a waste of my time
    It's never been a drag
So take a deep breath and count back from ten
    And maybe you'll be alright

Never really understood people that called other people "friend" but then later talks shit about them all the time behind their back in a nonjoking way, yet still call them "friend."

On a different note, my shakuhachi teacher asked me if I wanted to try to learn a hard way of correcting my playing technique or the easy way.  I told him that I wanted to learn the hard way because if I learn the easy way and the easy way isn't necessarily the best way, then it'll be hard for me to correct my behavīor later on.  That's the main reason why I do things the hard way most of the time... I might not be right all the time, but I like things that last.

Eh. Whatever. drama for yo' mama.  Passive aggressive people suck, they never apologize appropriately.  *shrug* I guess I may be a hypocrite, but at least I can own up every now and then.  Anyways, working on some things.

Interesting... at first I was in disbelief, but I guess they have something out now...
    There's a mouse that's controlled by brainwaves:

apparently there's been research on this topic, and various universities and students have been working on these types of projects.

It's only a matter of time when we enter the matrix.  :B

Though in the meantime, check out Gundam 00 and Macross Frontier...
My friends that watch anime told me to check it out.  It's good!

Here's a clip from Macross Frontier:

Yeah true, In England I see more 'pass the buck' style antics, but I grew up differently due to the culture my father picked up elsewhere, I often find myself taking blame to save others, which I suppose is another extremity. It's hard to balance for some.

Well, be sure to leave a note at his profile or something. I'm sure he's got his laptop with him. He's running off to his sis's wedding so I think he's not in the bay area the whole time. Don't miss him.

A few of us are lunching with Mark on Sat in SF. I'm sure he's meeting up w/ his friends who may also happen to be AnDers. But, no, there doesn't _seem_ to be an official AnD thing going. Come on...it's just Mark. heehee (don't tell him I said that - =D ).
