One of the pictures I've taken during my trip to Europe was selected by a travel website, Schmap.com! I'm so thrilled and excited!

I discovered the video below from Grace Huang A&D blog.  You may have heard of this already or may even have seen the video, but this story is so inspiring I just had to post it up again for you all to enjoy.

I can't stop watching this.  It brought a smile to my face all day.

15歲「小」販鄭金鈴獎學金創業立志脫貧

安徒生筆下有個賣火柴的女孩，為生計在寒冷的街頭叫賣。上星期，旺角西洋菜街人潮中站着一個賣Cap帽的女孩，才15歲，曾被選為香港傑出學生，當同齡少 女沉醉少女漫畫的虛幻，她卻在天水圍綜援家庭裏，終日想着如何搵錢養家，瞞着母親用獎學金「創業」，生產自己設計的Cap帽到街頭擺賣。

賣CAP帽的女孩受盡色迷迷的眼光及惡言辱罵，抹乾眼淚，她說會忍受直至麻木，因為夢不是為自己而發：「家裏窮，我希望將來賺錢請工人服侍媽媽。」

老師：她在學校什麼都參與

賣CAP帽的女孩名叫鄭金鈴，在屯門保良局董玉娣中學讀中三精英班。母親說，自從多年前與丈夫離婚之後，沒有贍養費，一直靠綜援養大一對子女。金鈴上中學 了，她哥哥也出來打工了，媽媽才放心找散工，「我一直沒空管束女兒，不知道她在幹什麼。」金鈴的老師王先昌則說：「她在學校什麼都參與……」戲劇、中提 琴、畫畫、設計機器人，中二時甚至發起全校同學簽名爭取校車接送，又四出找巴士公司承辦，成熟程度令人吃驚。老師都知道她家裏很困難，「快要升高中了，很 擔心她這樣會影響學業」。

但現實環境已讓金鈴成長到超出他們的想像，「家裏沒錢，媽媽上班很辛苦，送外賣、樓面什麼都做過，常捱到頂不住要辭職，一年轉6次工。我想學做生意，想賺錢發達，希望有一天能讓她過好日子」。訪問翌日，她哥哥便被金融海嘯淹沒，被公司裁掉。

曾代表香港赴美參加機械人比賽

當時下父母都感嘆子女難教，金鈴卻在逆境中沒有學壞，一直躋身精英班，中一便代表學校贏得青少年機械人世界盃香港區公開賽營救組冠軍。中二有機會代表香港 往美國亞特蘭大參加總決賽，興興冲冲告訴媽媽，媽媽卻說：「無錢呀，不要去了！」小女孩哇一聲哭了出來，母親說：「我不忍心，把戶口裏僅有的7000元提 了出來讓她做旅費，立刻笑得好開心！」

金鈴和隊友為香港捧回季軍獎座，上了電視，同年又獲香港傑出教師協會評選為香港傑出學生。拿到3000元獎學金，她沒有買名牌、唱K，因為母親大半生服侍別人，「我將來想請工人服侍她」。

寄信任天堂詢版權「一切資料上網找」

14 歲的小腦袋便開始為家人的未來計劃。「我從網上訂貨，賣錢包，但沒賣出。」金鈴說，她其實也喜歡蠟筆小新、唱K、看日劇、逛街買衣服，但家境不容許奢侈， 後來她從喜歡的「孖寶兄弟」找到了靈感，決心創業。金鈴用電腦設計了一頂紅色CAP帽，寄信給任天堂美國總部詢問版權，對方沒回覆反對，於是用1000元 向香港知識產權署申請外觀設計專利，去年11月獲批後，找內地廠商生產了50頂帽子，一半放在天水圍商場寄賣。「一切都是自己上網找資料，沒有告訴老師和 媽媽。」她向傳媒發電郵介紹自己的產品，但經驗不足，語焉不詳，連月無人理會。

上星期四，她首次走到旺角街頭擺賣，站了一個下午賣出6 頂，高興得忍不住回家告訴媽媽，媽媽才知道女兒竟做起生意來，擔心得很，「那條街壞人多過好人！回家睡覺好過啦！」她知道金鈴前日又要擺賣，嘴裏不斷向女 兒潑冷水，下班後卻頂着疲倦趕到西洋菜街看望女兒，嚷着不睡覺也要陪伴至女兒「收工」。

王先昌老師昨天接到記者電話，才知道金鈴賣Cap帽的故事，感嘆說：「她家裏環境差，但很少說自己的事，我真是很吃驚，她好厲害！當下許多放縱的青少年，應該好好看看這個榜樣。」

單親、綜援、金融海嘯、失業……無數人頹唐呻吟的時代，天水圍這個賣Cap帽的女孩，沒有傷春悲秋。

Recently, a friend of mine send me this request on Facebook where I am suppose to write 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about myself.  I spent 10 minutes going through it with very little thought. 

You may not agree with some of the things I say here, but this is who I am.  =)

1) I hate all religion...including Atheism.
2) Photography is fun...especially if I get to meet more hot model chicks!!
3) Soccer is the greatest sport on earth. Fuck hockey!
