NOT!!!

Found out two weeks ago that my main nerve in my left hand is PINCHED and I need SURGERY!!!

Hospital phoned me today to set up pre-op and operation appointments. Pre-op is on the 10th, and the surgery itself on the 17th. To be performed by a plastic surgeon in what's called "day surgery" ... in and out the same day. I just hope they can use local anesthesia versus general, because I'm scared to be chemically "knocked out."

Everyone mind offering up prayers for safe & successful procedure & recovery? Pretty, pretty PLEASE?

UGH!!!
The surgery has been POSTPONED AGAIN!!!
Something to do with my thyroid hormone being too high for surgery ... UGH!!!

UPDATE!
Surgery has been postponed until late January, at which time they will give local anesthesia at my left elbow and release pressure on the "funny bone" nerve leading down to my hand.
