7 commentsChecked in here at AnD today ~ found out I have EIGHTEEN PAGES PLUS SEVEN blogs to read/comment on (this goes back to 11 October) ...
Been busy @ home lately, getting things ready for winter around the outside of home...Yesterday & the day before, installed a new screen/storm door on the front of the house ...Tighten hinges on the front door (it was sagging, so installed longer screws (3" versus the 1" ones that I removed) ...Make sure the area where the electric company's meter is located on the front of the house is clear and accessible, because they sent us a letter that a contractor is coming out to our area to install new "smart" meters on the homes in the area ...Other prior days, work on the yard with lawn mower, leaf blower, weed eater, etc ...Clip/prune shrubs/small trees around the house ...Daily clean-up of the fish pond ~ using a net to collect fallen leaves out of it ...Repaired a favorite garden ornament which had broken ...Clean & organize the garden tool shed ...Put exterior covers over window air-conditioners ...THEN ~ after working outside, come in & cook dinner for the household & collapse in front of the TV ...
Tomorrow, weather permitting, more outdoor yard/property maintenance & clean-up ...OTHER FUTURE projects outdoors include:1. Repair front porch stair-rail ...2. Repair kitchen door entry stair-rail ...3. Put down weather stripping for the new front screen/storm door (it goes on the porch deck; on the floor between the house/front door & the new screen/storm door) ...4. Install window insulation/weatherproofing over ALL the windows & sliding patio door ...5. Repair a a couple more garden ornaments which had broken ...OH ~ AND ~ I put in an application for employment!!! Pray for me & wish me luck on it, PLEASE (only because I want OUT of the house & OFF of the property during the daytime, because I'm NOT going to college anymore) !!!
SO, time to start catching up HERE as I can!!!
UPDATE ~ began reading on page 19, 7th blog down ~ Alfred Hsing 11 October ... stopping 4 the night on page 14, 1st blog down ~ Gong Wu 17 October ... it's past midnight now & I'm freaking tired, so I'm going night-night!!!
