Haven't been around here much lately ... too much stress in my life, and didn't really wanna depress anyone else with it.

Anyone remember about the surgery I had in April?

Well, I finally got the nerve to take a photo of the scar from the surgery (Jake operated the camera). My arm doesn't feel quite right yet ... sometimes I have sensations in the scar area of it being wet, and sometimes I have stinging sensations. Need to speak to the surgeon about it. My lower arm and hand aren't really back to full use yet, and I have quite a bit of muscle loss in the hand and some in the lower arm (it's too ugly to show). As you can see, the scar wraps around my elbow (the purplish curved line), and there's still discoloration from bruising (i HAD been bruised all the way from my armpit to my hand, UGH)!

Small bit of interesting news though ... we added a family member ...

HER name is MOKI ... she's a 10-year old spayed MANX breed cat, who we adopted from the Salem Friends of Felines shelter. She'd been in shelter since April. Apparently, she likes napping on my MacBook!!!
