    It's been a while since I wrote a FOODY blog ~ since the weather's beginning to get chilly at night, thought I'd make some COMFORT FOOD for dinner ~ HAM & BEANS, with CORNBREAD!!! 



    Package ingredients = Contains 15 of these varieties: northern, pinto, large lima, black-eyed peas, garbanzo (chick) peas, baby lima, green split pea, kidney, cranberry bean, small white, pink bean, small red, yellow split pea, lentil, navy, white kidney, black bean ... WAIT a MINUTE!!! They list 17 types!!! How the heck they know they got only 15 types in there!!!  

    Seasoning packet = sugar, spices and spice extractives (including paprika), salt, dextrose, bleached wheat flour, dehydrated onion, soybean oil, lemon juice powder, dehydrated garlic, natural and artificial flavoring (including smoke flavor), hydrolized soy protein.

    Finished product in my bowl, cooling so I can EAT it !!!  


    The cornbread is used to soak up the juice once all the rest is EATEN !!!
