Just here getting up the nerve to post some of my writing (too many people I know would see it on myspace and potentially call me an idiot - not really, but in my fucked up mind they would). Yes, I have a potty mouth. Deal with it.
The goal is to bring forth to others what continually streams through my cerebrum. This creative noise is sometimes incessant...and interruptive to my outward life.
As a single mother and graduate student, I am constantly busy (even at 2 in the morning!); spending time with my son, and baby daughter, while finishing up my master's degree in Epidemiology/Biostatistics. I have a degree in Neuroscience (not trying to brag, just need to explain how nerdy I really am) and also have an obsession with astrophysics.
So while writing is my passion, finding time is difficult. I tend to write poems more often than stories, as they are shorter and can be constructed from a singular stream of thought. Longer works take up the precious time that I cannot seem to spare, so my computer indefinitely houses these unfinished manuscripts.
