Writer's Block

This is the very first time I have experienced writer's block...well except in school before a paper deadline of course.  For the life of me, I cannot make fluid what runs circles in my mind, knocking down the structure that is in place to keep my sanity intact.  Perhaps just writing about writers block will open the floodgates. 

But instead, I feel like creating visual art using a canvas or even (gasp!) paper as medium.  Having not touched a real paintbrush in years, there will be some interesting ideas to fuse with color...
