anyway why did it take so long? couple reasons really
GET A REAL JOB yes i have a corporate job to pay the bills. i'd love to say i am a starving artist but the truth is i havnt grown the balls.. yet haha.. to thow aside my advertising career, which keeps me in the hedonistic jetsetting lifestyle to which i have become accustomed
GET SOME CONTENT i am, in all honesty, a freestyle rapper.. everything i do is spontaneous and straight off the top. ironically this is a really good thing because i have zero time to write anyway thanks to crazy working days and major blowout hangovers on the weekend. i just like to grab a whisky and let rip on the mic.. no more no less. what it means though is less recorded tracks and content to share and that's just a bit shit. so im gonna change that :)
STEREOTYPES white rapper u say.. in hong kong u say. oh yeah in all honesty its taken me a while to accept that i cant not do this rapping thing. for the longest time iv kept it low key and VERY seperate from my professional career. im on the advertising conference speaking circuit and one of my biggest fears has always been the risk of losing respect from the 15-20 year ad veterans that i speak next to, not to mention the people that pay to hear me speak. BUT am pleased to say that thanks to the support of my dear friends and family, whom iv had this conversation with many times, i have finally been convinced that my talent is bigger than the sum of those fears. I LOVE YOU GUYS. besides which many of those ad people who have caught wind of my tendency to 'spit mad game' have expressed nothing but admiration and support - which is so awesome
so here i am, poking my head up out of the sand and looking forward to sharing and collaborating with all you fine types, fans and artists alike :)
