I have to say well done to China for a spectacularly glamrous, impressive and well organised games. It was a pleasure to watch. After watching the opening and closing ceremonies, it will be a hard act for London 2012 to follow. 

I just hope the people of the world don't judge Londoners by our rather scruffy mayor, Boris Johnson, he's a bit of a character who isn't yet PR polished but he looked like he was enjoying himself anyway. And for those of you who don't know who she was, the girl singing on top of the red bus was Leona Lewis, who won a reality TV talent show a few years ago. 

Well done to everyone who won medals and i know i'll be volunteering for the London games. Hope to see some of you there.
