Van Ness and Kanye in Shanghai

so luckily my trip to Shanghai coincided with the Kanye West concert with our very own AnD superstar homie Van Ness as the guest artist to open the show! to be honest, i'm not a really big fan of Kanye, but it was cool to see Van Ness on stage (cuz admittedly i've never been to an F4 concert). props homie! it was cool to be there and actually my favorite part of the show was when Van Ness came on stage with Kanye to sing "Good Life".

recreating the past...or trying to

so i was cutting my hair a few days ago and thought...hey, no need for a suit and tie anymore; i don't have to seem "professional" to anyone; & i'm my own boss so i don't need to worry about pissing anyone off - why not another mohawk? so the mohawk in my profile picture is from 5.5 years ago when i just turned in my resignation at The Economist. i actually went to work for my last 2 weeks with that haircut! what were they gonna do, fire me?!?!? haha.

i dont know why...

i dont know why, but when i came out of Racks this afternoon to find a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 parked right next to my Triumph Daytona Triple 675, i was really excited and happy. without hesitation, i whipped out my phone and snapped a few shots. for those who dont know, the Speed Triple 1050 is the bigger brother version of my Daytona Triple 675 - 1050cc as opposed to my 675cc. that's a huge difference! a monster of a bike! it's considered a real tough, no nonsense bike. it's a "naked" bike - meaning it has no fair...Read more
