A name that is synonymous in the motoring world with tradition, class and now sex appeal...
take a look at those sex forks and front suspension...

even the gas tank gets me excited.

aluminum alloy and titanium are always a perfect couple.

i'll be damned if this isn't one of the world's sexiest rear ends...

i even park it right next to my bed so that its the last and first thing i see before and after i go to sleep....

that's my TRIUMPH DAYTONA 675 TRIPLE. for those that dont know, it won super bike of the year last year. it's lighter, slimmer and more nimble than most 600's but has the additional 75cc's to let the power to weight ratio compete with the 750's - it's literally in a class of its own.
the specs:
engine: liquid-cooled, DOHC (dual overhead cam), in-line 3(cylinder)
capacity: 675 cc
bore/stroke: 74.0 x 52.3mm
compression ratio: 12.65 x 1
gearbox: 6-speed, close ratio
frame: aluminum beam twin spar
wheels: alloy 5-spoke, 17 x 3.5 (front), 17 x 5.5 (rear)
tires: 120/70 ZR 17 (front), 180/55 ZR 17 (rear)
suspension: 41mm USD forks with adjustable preload, rebound and compression dampening (front), monoshock with piggyback resevoir adjustable for preload, rebound and compression (rear)
length: 2010mm
width: 673mm (handlebars)
height: 1109mm
seat height: 825mm
wheelbase: 1392mm
dry weight: 165kg
maximum power: 123BHP @ 12,500rpm
maximum torque: 53 ft lbs @ 11,750rpm
so what does all this mean? it means that i can do 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds - 2.8 is what i think i did it in, but technically i'm told i should be able to do it in 2.675 seconds. i've only been able to let it open once since its been raining since i bought it, but i've taken it up to about 146mph or 220kph.
here are some more pictures from Triumph for you to enjoy:
