Jet Li takes Singapore Citizenship !?

I hope in the near future, Li's One Foundation will include singapore artist in any of its campaign drive. I'm sure many of us will be more than willingly to volunteer.

SINGAPORE (AFP) – Chinese action star Jet Li has taken up Singapore citizenship and bought a property in the city state worth nearly 20 million Singapore dollars (14 million US), according to a report.
The Business Times did not say when the Beijing-born star took up his new nationality or bought the upmarket property. It did not give its source.
Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) would not confirm the newspaper report when contacted by AFP for reasons of confidentiality.
A Beijing-based staff member at Li's One Foundation contacted by AFP declined comment.
Li is the latest Chinese star to have taken up Singapore citizenship, following in the footsteps of leading actress Gong Li, who shot to fame with her roles in "Farewell My Concubine" and later "Memoirs of a Geisha."
Gong Li, who is not related to Jet Li, became a Singapore citizen last year.

Lotus Bloomed!

My lotus plant has bloomed!
Beautiful!

I didn't know I bought a White Lotus though. I was expecting to a rosy pink lotus flower.
When I first bought it , it only has 3 pathetic leaves size of a saucer plate. 2 of the foliage were slightly burn. I though I was quite foolish to spend couple of hundreds on this plant.

But now (after 2 months), Look at its gorgeous flower and healthy foliage. This fragrant Lotus flower opens in the morning and the petals start to fall in the afternoon. I will have a few more days to enjoy the beauty of this flower.

Same goes to my orchid plant. It due to bloom in September. But now earlier.

My friend said its due to the effects of peer pressure that why it bloomed earlier.
And I have another orchid plant which is catching up soon.

I guess floras have their own language.

Just in time for Valentine's Day

My Orchid plant has bloomed just in time for this romantic day.

I bought this plant last July when it was in flower. Six months after the flowers withered, It bloom again.
