It had been crazy for the past 2 nights, with lots of food and partying. So long, it had been.
Was at this pub last night with H and A, and such coincidence, the live band performing was one of the Singapore Idol judge. The songs he sang, I know them well, but when he covered Sting's Field of Gold, it became the song for her......
Fields of Gold
You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in fields of gold
So she took her love
For to gaze awhile
Upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold
Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in fields of gold
See the west wind move like a lover so
Upon the fields of barley
Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth
Among the fields of gold I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We'll walk in fields of gold
We'll walk in fields of gold
Many years have passed since those summer days
Among the fields of barley
See the children run as the sun goes down
Among the fields of gold
You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold
Words and music by Sting

One week just passed by in an blink of an eye. Now I am back home, but I missed my stay in Perth. Man are always so contradicting, when you have it, you wanted another, but when you have the other, you want the first. Probably that makes us the higher spieces.
Although it's just a mere one week in Perth, the trip just light up my desire to uproot to Australia again. The thoughts had been hovering around for many years, but always unable to let go some of my loved ones here.
Back in Perth, was really busy with the workshop and seminars, but most enjoyable. This trip was much fulfilling then the previous one 2 years ago, at least I do not need to hide in the Hotel room
rushing for some assignments. Moreover, met up with a very very close local friend and it was simply wonderful to catch up again after 6 months we last met. Had a wonderful dinner at the Sky Restaurant, over-looking the breath-taking scenery of Perth from the 37th storey. Although H said it wasn't as high as the one I took her to in S, but this is the best she could find. Of course I don't blame her, S is famous for being KS. Unfortunately, I left my cam in the hotel and didn't get to take any photos. What a shame.
But dinner was really wonder and the red wine was simply sweet......
Now back in S, work had been piling up again. Only managed to clear the emails 2 days later and start on the paper work. Already planning how I should build up my wealth and fulfill this long dream of mine.
But, something came along, an opportunity but at an expense of this dream.... life is so contradicting...... what do I want most?

Its going to be 6 days without seeing my baby. Daddy is going for work trip to Perth and will surely miss you. This is by far the longest period of my life without seeing you.
From the phone, heard that you are already walking alot. I missed it again. But I am looking forward to see you again, walking towards me....
See you real soon, my son.

What did I say in my previous blog? A month of sickness and illness? Well, that's it. Now it's your turn. How would a normal flu becomes Bronchiolitis. Sigh. This is the toughest treatment you have to go through. Sorry son. But mum and dad is doing this for your own good. You have to get well soon, and we would not need to give you the torturing medication then.
Love, dad.
