Michael Newman started in media with a music video pitch for Lincoln MKS Grammy's competition. His pitch was produced in LA as a commercial music video soon after. Previously, Newman won video competitions producing online viral content for Best Buy, Dunkin-Donuts and the AFL-CIO. His experience includes work on dozens of independent film productions, from research and development on large-scale documentary projects to grip-work on TV productions and directing on short film projects. Newman is currently gearing up for a move to Los Angeles and an MFA program at USC film school in the fall.
Newman currently seeks to expand his film portfolio with a variety of new projects, and can often be found editing, networking, writing out new ideas or adapting really old ones.
