wow it has been so long since I have logged in here! Probably a year or so has gone by and it's great to see the site is ever-so active.

I recently finished a masters degree, lol it feels weird since I (believe) I am still quite young and could probably get away with buying a child ticket at the cinema XD

Where will my life lead me now? I'm still in the process of writing my thesis which is due in September...then it's into the working world. I've applied for 3 jobs, all which are in or very near London. It would be great to be able to move back there and have a more fulfilling experience after biting the books for so long!

Hello I am back :P hehe Since my last entry I have turned 21 (old?) and finishedmy undergraduate education. Now I am pretty much free! Before I move back home for the Summer, I still have a few things to do around campus though. June 21 I will be going to a university ball, it's pretty cool with a fairground, casino and silent disco. A silent disco is one where they give you all a wireless handset and stream different music lol. I plan to try out my texas hold 'em skills though hehe. On June 22 I am off to Amsterdam lol. It should be very interesting there..I am looking forward to the waffles and pancakes etc lol weed-free of course:P I don't think I will try tweed...

Time to go shopping for shoes and bag now anyway^_^ Will post pics if they are nice :P Thanks for reading!

As for my day, I spent it in the rain (it has almost been raining for 2 days straight now in the UK)..being a first aid volunteer at Gay Pride lol. It was ok, there was some rather weird people. I never understand why gay people have to be in your face about their sexuality though. I also had a drunk guy fake a heart attack and he told me he thinks oriental girls are sweet and beautiful. Another man wanted to shake my hand..and one asked me to check his pulse rate...I think it would've been pretty fun it wasn't for the rain! Also realised that many British Chinatowns are in fact linked to Gay Villages...I wonder why that is? lol

Living away from home for nearly 3 years has allowed me to discover that I have some pretty good culinary skills (afterall my parents are in the restaurant business lol). I found that I was cooking a lot of things first time just from having eaten it. Today I was craving sweetcorn soup, I dunno why...now and again I just really want to eat something in particular. I had never made sweetcorn soup before or seen it being made, but attempted anyway without a recipe. Used fresh corn on the cob (a bit of a hassle but worth it!), seafood mix, and the usual egg...

This is my second attempt..let's hope it works this time! Guess I should introduce myself. My name's Julie (duhh) and I am from the UK. I am studying at university and I have about 6 weeks till I graduate, very scary! Hopefully I will be studying a Masters next year. As for interests and hobbies, I enjoy listening to music (and singing but I'm not so good), travelling, languages, shopping,  cooking, watching dramas, going to gym, aerobics, yoga (when I can be bothered to do it..), and general chilling with friends. I came across this site some time ago when I was searching about the 'Heavenly Kings' movie, and wow I'm very impressed. It's a great concept and gives an insight to the 'normal' life of the celebrity! I guess it's also a place for stalkers lol..but please don't stalk..I had stalkers and it's scary.-_- Going to conjure something up with the tortillas I bought.
