navin, i was on the dancefloor..and when the first track came of after fat man scoop left, i looked at my friend and said.. "this is an awesome remix.. but doesnt sound like scoop" and she points up at you n goes 'cause its not'..i just stood there, my jaw dropped.. lol

Desi Parties ?

Desi - is a slang term for calling ourselves Indians ... so desi parties are basically indian parties .

I Navin Parwani a.k.a MCG or HEAVY as my desi's all call me in the indian club scene whcih i built up during my late 20's in hong kong , using my fame with local chinese clubs and making a proper desi party , we use to have many before , but it would be in a venue whic would be an indian restauarnt and then after 12 changing the venue to make it look like a club , well just basically moving around the tables and stuff addin a small speake r that would crack by the end of the might , and a few cd player with small mixer , and those cheap sham shui po lighting .

I changed it all and showed HONG KONG DESI PPL ... what a party is suppose to be like ... i have been doing this since 1998 and now today im known to be one of the best Desi party organizer . My production runs under the name of Dhols & Sitars Productions.... and i have been bringing in DJ'S from all over india and making them a no . 1 seller not only here in hong kong but all over south east asia , my team went from jus me being one person to a team 3 , and today we sub co-ordinate with other productions in hong kong , but all under the operation of Dhols n Sitars... TO GIVE YUO A FEEL OF MY PARTY AND THE VENUES I USE ...... HERE IS A VIDEO of the youngest DESI Dj / Producer / Re-mixer , at the age of 20 he has over 200 tracks he has remixed or produced .. .solid thumpiing house and electro vibes in his tunes .... i present you DJ . NYK ... thisi s a test run video so quality is low end , but i could not resist to see what his friends had done , most of teh voice of he iinterviewing with people was done by me ... so thast my voice heheh , and then some girl turned the camera on me and asked me questions ... check it out , i love it ... oh and im wearing Miskeen ... heheh

MY real name is Navin Parwani A.K.A MCG . I am known to ppl to be a Human Beat Boxer & A Free style Rapper - THIS IS NOT MY PROFEESSION BUT a hobby but, this hobby has earned me some great titles and reconigtion

*HONG KONG's first offical human beat boxer( 104fm HK RADIO STATION(1996)hosted by Dj Gary Callicot (THE HEAD DJ OF JULIANA'S DISCO TOKYO) 1996 ,

*HONG KONG'S BEAT BOXING CHAMPION (HK CLUBBING.COM 2007 FOR THE MISKEEN JUICE PARTY)

*Am reconized by the hip hop community to be "ONE OF THE FIRST" ones OR maybe even "THE FIRST" to be in hong kong to be rapping free style ( since 1993) and doing some old skool tracks

My name and reputation was built i belive when i was doing the free stylin n beat boxin in clubs like FEVER (TST)1993 , DINO IN REGAL HOTEL BASEMENT ( TST )'93/94, RED DISCO (TST)'96-98 ALL THANKS TO DJ SIMON CHOI (A SUPERSTAR DJ, DMC CHAMPION 1986 AND KNOWN FOR BEING ONE OF THE BEST CANTON DISCO DJ'S)for he was the one who got me out there and inspred me to carry on my hobby and from there onwards i carried on to spread my name , even over to the HK island .

My first ever studio recording was 1995 when we re-did the song of D.I.S.C.O - and i re-wrote the lyrics for the whole track , thats when gary started playing my tracks on the radio station -that track went more hit then the original in places like malaysia, indonesia , and singapore . i was then doing other songs re-writing the lyrics and just making for compilations under respect music and bingo music , Also a track of the 2 live crew version "we want some pussy" ....nasty i know but hey ! it got me SOME hehehe . we did a drum n bass version thanks to my main man DJ SIMON THAT TRACK WAS IN AVEX TRACKS COMPILATION for BOOM disco in TST - thanks to dj spark at that time or making that happen . then in 2000 we hooked up with the local dj's who were very much into hip hop and wanted to do some tracks of their own , homies who were knwon in the local hip hop dj comuunity - DJ LORI & DJ JOE , ME, DJ SIMON AND one more dude DECIDED THAT SINCE THE SONG "WE WANT SOME PUSSY" WAS SUCH A HIT AND WHEN EVER I USE TO SING IT IN THE CLUBS EVEN IN THE YEAR OF 1999 WAS STILL A BIG HIT I WOULD YELL THE CHROUS AND PPL WOULD FEEDBACK IN CANTONESE SAYING "HEY YOUR FATHER IS SNIFFING K" IN CANTO DISCO TECHNO POP , ITS "HEY LEI LOU TAU SOK K" AND AFTER THAT SONG WENT HIT ...SO DID I...

WE CAME OUT WITH 3 MORE ALBUMS AND THE SONGS JUST KEPT HITTING THE CLUB CHARTS ...BUT OFOCURSE NEVER PLAYED ON THE RADIOS BCS OF PROFANITY AND POLITICS ISSUES ....WE DID OUR LAST ALBUM UNDER AVEX TRACKS AND WE DID NOT HAVE THSI OTHER DUDE , BUT ADDED DJ JOE AND MC JAZZ WITH US AND WE REVERSED OUR NAME AND CALLED IT "4PM" AND THE ALBUM WAS TITLED "REVERSE MY NAME" . BUT EVEN BEFORE THAT I WAS STILL ON THE ROAD DOING GIGS WHENEVER I COULD . WE EVENHIT BIG WITH THE MP4 ALBUM IN MALAYSIA WHERE TILL TODAY ON MY FRIENDSTER OR FACEBOOK , PPL COME UP ESPECIALLY FROM MALAYSIA AND STILL TALK ABOUT OUR SONGS ....

I LOVE THE SUPPORT I CONTINUOSLY GET FROM ALL YOU PEOPLE IN THE INDUSTRY ...I COULD NAME SO MANY ... BUT WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT MINIMAL .
