Hello there,

This is my first blog entry here. Gonna try to keep it short and sweet.

I came across this website after umpteenth clueless clicks on the internet. One thing led to another and it led me here. At first I thought this was some radical website advocating some sorta extreme ideas, judging from the title 'alive not dead'. But then I took a closer look and realized that it's something much better than I had imagined. That's why people say don't judge a book by its cover. I guess in this case it'd be dont judge a website by it's title. hah! (i pride myself with a good sense of humor but my friends, they beg to differ... =D )

We had about 22 inches of snow in the Chicagoland area this past Tuesday night. It was more than a snowstorm. It was a thundersnowstorm. I thought for sure we were gonna beat the 1967 record of about 26 inches of snow AND... we didnt  =( 

I woke up to a Winter Wonderland! Streets and sidewalks were buried, let alone my poor Nelly (my Subaru's nickname). One night of thundersnowstorm = 5 hours of shoveling (3ppl doing the whole driveway, sidewalk and porch), 2 attempts to make snow angels (couldnt get out of the snow both times and ruined them both) and very sore muscles everywhere. I had to sleep on my belly cause my back hurt so bad. Im gonna post some pictures over the weekend so you can see it for yourself.

So that's that. In my upcoming blogs, I think I'm gonna mix it up with a little bit of current news/events, my own thoughts/experiences and perhaps teach some English through my short clips? Oh well, we'll see... Can't make plans to make plans right?
