tryin to retire from this game, but still it gots me on the wraps.
need to wake up this morning at 6:15am for all-day executive training. somehow micro-manage our music matters event preparations for wednesday during meeting breaks. squeeze in some nutrients and water. have a 5:30p meeting. get to macpherson stadium at 7:15p. stretch and prepare so i can play 35 minutes of kick-ass defense and potent offense vs fukien so i can silence all the doubters on my coaching staff who have lost faith in me.
he's too slow.
he's too old.
he can't close out on shooters.
he's reckless and shoots too fast.
he doesn't have the gas.
7 years, no trust, no respect for me.
i am all alone on this court. me and my pride. waiting for some faith that, for some reason, after all this time, i have still not earned.

my first tokyo
forbidden feast
dusk fills the sky and the lights shiver on
till the ramen man slurps his last drop
whence the sparrow chirp home.
you the shabu queen, the Style covergirl: where did you go when the kirin stopped pour?
little streets and petit shoppes petition
the patrons yon bye, the quiet, the small silences drive you inside
though language does not adhere:
what makes sense in these galleries, in these sacristies of commerce, of kawaii?
you are the sunshine, cornergirl, you and the other ones on your heels in your gait in your summer sundresses turning suits' heads and mine the full one eighty: only tokyo.
cool kids cardigans perfectly sworn to perfection: young men hair challenge all comers: who gots the gel straight; who rollin tight the lines, them brooklynfade? most cats stylin lids fred astaire: where beach meets bum you come tokyo, tune in.
i love thee. taxi you rob me but ramen got me happy: X times Y and the waittress at NOS makes me feel no pain.
gaijin first time no blame. my city were it mine.
be goodtokyo.
seesoon.
