'Warm Sunshine' - audiotraffic MV

Ok guys, i've had this idea in my head for awhile, but never really commited myself to start work on it. However, during my time working on 'Reiki', i had free time while things were rendering, so i began writing idea's and notes down on paper, before coming up with a list of scenes i'd like to include.
There are allllllot of artists(and some AnD staff) referenced, although mainly pictures off AnD, there's also other references to artists(as a clue look at the name of shops, or the signposts, or look at the girls dress for a famiular logo), some easy to spot, others not so easy!This is an easy one!
Off the top of my head, heres a brief list of some of the people to look for:Boon, Etchy, Patrick, Race & Rozy, 24 Herbs, Jason Tobin, Scottie Hui, Tung Tung, HKPA(actually these appear in video form as its a video i created ages ago using the artist logo i created), Beats Magazine, Reni Wong, Pedro Chaves, Reiki, MadeInHKHope you guys enjoy it!Edit 7th October

As a bonus here's a couple of things to look for:
-A sign for Pedro's restaurant, but can you find the restaurant
-The magazine stand, its called Ferdie's
-Scotties magazine on the magazine stand, as well as Etchy's, Shans and BEATS magazine.
-The magazine stand is infront of a shop caled TOBINS
-A sign for Scottie's, but can you find Scottie's Arcade
-The 7/11 style shop called 24 herbs
-The TV channel called AnD
-The pattern on the girls dress is the Hardpack logo
-Adrian and Ferdie are both wearing Audiotraffic shirts, while Glen seems unusually comfortable wearing the women's audiotraffic shirt, while Don is wearing 'the heavenly kings shirt!
-The heavenly kings shirt is also worn by peaple in the street, and is also seen in the girls wardrobe

--------------------------AnD, Artists and everyone, we need your help!As you all know during the past year, I've been making the first action-fantasy feature film from Belgium : Reiki The Movie. http://imdb.com/title/tt1201649/It was shot for 6000 dollars on a record of 10 days, which is nothing if you see that it has several locations and martial arts scenes.Now, we had a distributor that optioned the movie. Several top people from that company watched the movie and loved it! They loved the concept, all the hard work we put into it, that you could feel when watching the movie. But now, the boss of that company, decided after more than 4 months of waiting, to drop the project and thus no distribution.The pain is that, since they optioned it, we had to wait for their answer. And because they made us wait that long, we lost a little of the buzz and publicity we had, and thus: now we actually almost have to start over again and create a new buzz.Belgium doesn't have Independent film, and we are that community, so help us make an Indie Industry in Belgium!Now we are trying to get as much as fans as possible on our facebook page: www.facebook.com/ReikiReiki on FacebookOur first aim is to pass the 1000 fans, and the big one: to pass the 10.000 fans. If we manage to create a buzz all around facebook, AnD, twitter, myspace,.. and get as many fans as possible, we'll be able to get a lot of publicity here in Belgium, and to get back on the roll, and even find some distribution.But we have to move fast,so send this message to as much people as possible, post it where you can, just spread the word and help us gather as many fans as possible.Cuz indie filmmaking is not loved in Belgium by the Industry! Seeing familiar faces in the 'warm sunshine'!

Well guys, i'm getting near the end of finishing my latest MV.I'm Currently finishing the rendering/editing, and it will hopefully be on-line soon. Its been one of the biggest tasks i've ever set myself, creating hundreds of textures/models etc.It also features loadsa references to AnD artists(and a few staff members), so keep your eyes peeled, some are easy to spot, while others aren't.
Edit:Woohoo! despite being on AnD for what seems like an eternity, this is the 1st time i've made the front page, Thanks so much!

That was the week that was!

Well last week was interesting, apart from the sudden death of 'The King of Pop', it was also the week a new addition to the family arrived.On Monday i got a letter in the post telling my i've been chosen for jury service, should be interesting seeing how the British justice system works! Although i doubt it will be like this!
On Tuesday at 7:10pm, my first nephew 'Alfie Jack' decided to arrive.Here's me and Alfie, plus another AnD artist making a special apperance....in t-shirt form.
Also last week Adrian recently posted a link to TVB programme 'Hong Kong, Hong Kong' which profiled/interviewed audiotraffic. A cool and interesting watch, which brought many shouts and cheers from me at about 2 and a half minutes in, when they showed part of the commercial i created awhile back. It was a huge shock and surprise when i saw it, so awesome having something shown on HK tv, especially as it was specifically created for alivenotdead.com
And last week i finished a rough-cut of the MV i've been making, which i'll hopefully be putting on AnD in July sometime. Maybe this will feature on 'Hong Kong Hong Kong' too.

The End Of The Beginning!

Hi guys, its been awhile but not without good reason. I'm only just catching up on all the new additions to AnD since xmas and replying to comments and blogs, seems like i've missed a lot (Boon on CNN, Etchy living with a Brazilian supermodel???) but i'm back now, and yep i've been busy, super busy working on a feature film for one of the AnD family, so i'd best explain.A few months ago, i had finished quite a few projects which you can read about here and here, and was kinda at a loose end at what to do next. I've always been the kinda guy that likes to set myself challenges, but this time i wanted to do something different, and wanted someone else to set be a challenge. So where best to look then AnD.One of the coolest things about AnD, and what i love reading about here, is the collaberations between the artists on various projects (and the artists with AnD members). So i'd thought i'd offer help on a project in production here on AnD, and as one of my main aims is to one day live and work in HK, it would be benificial to me if i could find a way of getting involved in a HK project. Instead i found a project abit closer to home, here in Europe.After a browse on AnD i came across 'Reiki', i'd been keeping an eye on its production and was excited at what Pedro Chaves was trying to achieve. I'd been watching Henri Wong's excellant work, and thought it would be cool work on some opening titles for a film, so i approached Pedro and asked if anyone was working on the opening Title's for 'Reiki'.Behold the obligitory 3D Logo!!!
After a few tests and a cast & crew list copied off IMDB, i determined the look i was aiming for with the titles, So i did a brief 1min test video for Pedro's approvalWith the thumb's up from Pedro, a list of suggestions, and now with the full cast & crew list, plus an introductory text scroll for after the titles, i began feverishly working on the opening titles.Pedro and I both made the same suggestion about the camera panning through clouds with the credits appearing through the clouds (ala. 'Back to the future 2')
The main titles are now complete, and have come along way since the initial test video.....wanna see them????........Well your gonna have to go and check out 'Reiki' when it hits the cinema's and DVD this year!!!Now i've also just started on another project, originally it started out as a few tests to see if i could replicate the Paddington Bear look in 3D. but then i got a few idea's, then heard some music, so now its gone from an animation test to a full blown 5 min music video, more soon.
