  • Recent Generalization of Healthcare in Southern Nevada

    Saturday, Mar 22, 2008 4:44AM / Standard Entry

Have you heard about the Hep B and C plus HIV scare here in southern Nevada?  I don't hear the end of it.  So what had happened was...

The Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada just lost their Business license here in Las Vegas for ludacris practice.  What they were doing (the staff there) was reusing needles and bottles of medicine for some amount of years, infecting possibly thousands of patients that went there for medical procedures.  NO, I DON'T WORK THERE nor would I be giving shots.  I work on electronics, mechanics, and pneumatics; not people ; )

Wow.  How sad.  I feel bad for these innocent people that were infected and at least this will not be happening (at least at that same facility) again.

    Helloooooowwwwww~

NASCAR is here in Las Vegas this weekend!  YYYYYES!!!!!  My coworker Jonathon may be able to get us free tickets for the race on Sunday!  That is cheaper and closer than skiing in Utah.  Hope that works out..  If I go I'm bringing my camera

This is me at Halloween about 4 years ago or so.  Myself and my roadDawg Matt went to 3 different costume parties and got dRRRRunk like sKKunkS!  I was Joe Dirt that year (costume) LIke the Wig?  haha

  • Mountain Savage!

    Tuesday, Feb 26, 2008 12:54AM / Standard Entry

I spent the whole weekend up on the mountain 45 minutes Northwest of Las Vegas.  Saturday I got a late start leaving the house..soo, i went up anyway to check the snow conditions (the plan was to go skiing all day Saturday).

I was walking up the mountain from the parking area and ran into someone I knew from work at the hospital I work at.  We got a few beers and hung out, but didn't ski because it was too late (the lifts close at 4pm and we didn't get up there until 130pm. - would have been a waste of money).

Sunday I woke up at 8am got ready and drove up the mountain.  I arrived to the ski lodge at a good time.  I didn't have to wait to rent equipment or get my lift ticket.  The snow conditions were great!  The weather (wind, snow) was extreme for the first half of the day, but the second half was really calm and made for nice runs down the slopes.  My legs got really tired since I hadn't skiied in a minute.  I feel pretty good today though.

I might go to Utah to go skiing next weekend.  Bigger Mountain, better snow there, should be good times..
