1973 * Recon Digital Re-Release

The good news just keep coming: Right before "Stamp Out Reality" is about to hit the stores in October, MPM will digitally re-release Hype's 2003 classic "1973 * Recon" (featuring the likes of Masta Ace, Mr. Lif, Souls of Mischief, Killa Kela, Freestyle, Akanni, Akrobatik & Zion I). As Vinyl and CD's are inevitably out ouf print, it's going to be the first digital release of the former Juice "Album of the month" (5 crowns). Downloadable by August 28. Word up! The last weekend was crazy allover! First we went to Hamburg, Club Moondoo on the Hamburg's famous Reeperbahn. It just happened to be the nationwide Harley Davidson Weekend and you could see the Hellfire Machines All City... + the usual Reeperbahn madness... the Moondoo Club was incredibly nice, unique concept, great hotel and all that... pure fun! Afrika Islam aka Charlie Funk spun with us at this night for his 1st residency Bday Bash and it was a blast!
The next day was scheduled to be the Miami Bass and Old School night in Berlin's Cassiopeia featuring the legendary Mr Mixx of the 2 Live Crew!! The party was just crazy!! Straight up Miami Bass and Old School Hip Hop, Funk & some weird Clubtunes + the usual Michael Jackson Medleys (like allover he world right now)... f.....g awesome!!

Michael Jackson RIP

Legendary pop singer Michael Jackson died today in Los Angeles, after suffering a heart attack today (June 25). Jackson was taken to a local hospital in Los Angeles by ambulance, where they attempted to administer CPR on the 50-year-old singer. Jackson was in Los Angeles rehearsing for the London concerts, which were slated to start in July.

Dubai / Abu Dhabi Tour 2009

I just had the chance to jump on a plane to the United Arabian Emirates. Visited the cities of Abu Dhabi & Dubai to perform a the Chevrolet Urban Challenge which included performances, live bands, sport activities and a car customization contest. It was amazing to see how much money you can put on top of already extraordinary cars! Besides me our team included MC Trix (of Battle of the Year fame), Old School DJ Mesia, the B-Boys Thomster & Earthquake from Footwork Orange, Beatbox Maestro Zeero & Graf Legend Can Two. What can i say? It was an amazing trip, with lots of crazy things happened. This part of the world was another great experience to me that i don't want to miss.
