Another Fundraising Concert in HK....

I happened to come across another news article about another disaster relief concert for the devastation caused by Typhoon Morakot... This time the fundraiser was held at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong....Again, many many artists participated in support of raising funds for the cause. Vivian Chow & Leo Ku...... Various Artists.....The "8.8 Disaster Relief Concert" was held at 7:30pm on the 17th of August (last night) at the Asia World Expo. Many Asian artists from three continents and two shores participated in this meaningful event, raising over $50 million RMB for disaster victims in Taiwan effected by Typhoon Morakot.

Light the Night will bring together corporate and family teams to carry light emitting balloons and create a sea of twinkling lights. In the weeks leading up to Light the Night teams of friends, families and work colleagues raise money to fund the Leukaemia Foundation’s Vision to Cure and Mission to Care. Dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and their families here and now, the Leukaemia Foundation also gives hope for a brighter future by funding the work of Australia’s best researchers.

The money we raise will be invested in critical research into better treatments and hopefully cures, as well as supporting patients during their long and tough treatment.

Taiwan Disaster Relief Fundraising Telethon.....

After hearing all the news about the destruction in Taiwan caused by typhoon Morakot, where thousands are missing and possibly over 500 dead......I read about this meaningful fundraiser on Sina.com.cn ~~A very special 6-hour fundraising telethon program called "想要有个家·八八水灾募款行动" ("Want a Home - August 8 Typhoon Fundraising Event") was held in Taiwan, and over 200 celebrities participated in this meaningful event. They even answered the calls of those who phoned in to donate!!
So sweet!.... here are a few of them busy answering donor's phone calls:

I randomly did a sketch the other day....
... now that I've finally sussed out my scanner for my macbook pro.... this is what the random sketch looks like....

Not too sure what kind of pose this is....It's been a while since i last sketched anything! And I don't know why, I just felt like drawing something the other day..... so I sketched this. I think I'm REALLY rusty with sketching at the moment! Same goes with my music! I think I need to get some practice done sometime soon!.... I miss playing my guitar and keyboard.....I miss sketching.....I miss taking photos.....I miss mixing music on my computer.....The joys of when everything does go your way!!!......Lots of catch up to do.....

Chinese Paladin 3 continued.... (仙劍奇俠傳III)

.... continuing on from my previous post about Chinese Paladin 3 ~ fantasy/wuxia/period drama directed by Li Guo Lap....The other two main characters:
....they go through some very heart-touching (and heartbreaking) times that span over three lifetimes (~200years).... Both have their own "roads" to walk ~~~ very moving.And then the cool evil dude!....
....he's got horns, red hard, mass makeup with dark red lipstick!! hee hee hee......
This character really has...err..."style"!!
Even though he's the king of evil spirits, he gradually turns ...nice....and he's very likable!! haa haa....More pictures about the series later....
