  Can you believe the last time I stepped foot into an American Apparel had to be like 2 years ago.  I didn't even know they had hosiery.  I saw some cute tights at Topshop last week but didn't feel like giving them my money.  Have you been?  Totally over hyped and way expensive for Forever 21 quality.

  Haha I can see the stick horse resemblance.  Footwear should never look like one of those things :P
  
  I like the whole dark tights+light open toe shoe look too.  I need to get some navy tights to wear with those shoes.  I've been diggin navy and purple together recently.

  I've been busy in the garden (it's autumn and I'm trying to get a some stuff cleared and a few last minute things planted while the ground is still warm). Hopefully I can get back into it soon!

  I've been batch cooking my steel cut oats in my rice cooker on the porridge setting and then dishing them into individual serving sizes.  Really a big time saver over stove cooking.  I love having oats for din din now :)

  I've never really been a big fan of Hugh - my fav film of his is About A Boy where at least he wasn't playing the same bumbling charming Englishman that he was in so many other movies.

  Forgot to mention that I posted my pics from the Nara show.  I think I took enough photos for the both of us.  I just pretend that I'm a rabid tourist sometimes :P  Those huts were the best.  I'd want one too.  I think I read somewhere that he did assemble them there.

  I agree that kiku was kinda disappointing and the fact that it was so cold didn't help. Maybe I can convince my other half to make the trek to see the orchid show. I saw some pics that a friend took of some folks in their cosplay outfits at the cherry blossom show last year. Must've been a real trip to see in person.

  I think I'm resistant to the schlep cause the last time I went was for the Kiku show.  It was quite cold and it felt like we waited an eternity for the bus. You're right, the garden is quite lovely though I suspect you might be just abit more nature lovin' than me :P   
  
  I do want to go see the cherry blossoms at the Brooklyn garden this year.  I totally missed it last year.

  You have mini feet? What size? 5's? I think Chucks would look good small feet. For some shoes that didn't have a whole lotta arch support, I used to use the Dr. Scholl's arch inserts. Just a thought. ;)
  
  I have a pair of Doc Martens lace-ups. They almost look and feel like combat boots. Barely worn. They are so cool but so clunky. =\

  Thanks for the info.  Haha I did kinda go wild there but honestly since going savory, I have no inclination to eat sweet oatmeal anymore. If you're going to try it, soysauce and an egg is a good way to start.
