    6.Mystic River

Anyone who is familar with me much know that Clint Eastwood is on the top list of my favourite directors, I almost have seen his each recent work , especially these couple of years, and I consider that his great accomplishment as a director is among those, period, such as Million Dollar baby,Flag of our fathers but no one can replace  Sean Penn ,Kevin Bacon,Tim Robbins,Laura Linney,Laurence Fishburne,Marcia Gay . Harden, Wow, what's your instinct when you 6actors and actress in one film ,and under Clint 's genius direct , everybody is on a higher step. By the way , Sean Penn gave us his remarkable peformance in his career, which won him a oscar in best actor in a leading role in 2004.

    7.Into the Wild荒野生存海报

It' Sean Penn again , Frankly speaking, I don't like American Hollwood commercial film too much , I 'm much more prefer to the independent movie, such as little miss sunshine , sideway ,ect.  Into the wild is on this category. In this film , Sean Penn leaded us to a new world, a world is very far away from the modern society ,but more close to the nature, a world that remind us show respect to other species , a world that give us a fresh look on ourself and the whole environment around us. And I like this film 's muscial score so much, and the open eyed view.

    8.To Live

Zhang yimou is my fav chinese director, I have seen all his movies ,from JUDOU  to Raise the Red Lantern , from Hero to Curse of the Golden Flower , no one can take the place of TO LIVE.  Why, because what the movie tell is the era of my grandparent and parent live through . When I was a little kid , they always tell me these stories , what they make through , I can't believe what they said , even in my dream .After learning history , I got to realize that they are right, what a tragey for my parent' s generation , how can they do that for them .  All I can do is to make that never happen again. This one has won two award in 1994 festial de cannes, including best actor (Ge you) and grend jury prize.

    9.Lost in Translation

    迷失东京海报

This movie is about two strengers met in a new foreign country and get closer and closer . In some way , it's universal . Everyone in the entire life will be lonely or feel forgetton some time . And if you can find your Charlotte or your Bob , you will be very lucky.Remember , everyone wants to be found.

    10.Leon

I think everybody is familar with this well-known movie, one of the greatest in the entire moive industry. I believe the people in the 23th century will be fond of it ,too.

Hey, thanks for sharing some of your favorite movies. I enjoyed reading. Gives me ideas of what to rent. We saw "Into the Wild" in the theater--it was awesome! I am with you....I prefer independent film. Better stories.
