A couple of days ago, I and Danny Chan Kwok-Kwan had the priviledge to be nominated “the ambassadors of the Wushu Master Association” (WMA) by the President of CCTV 5, in order to promote wushu through Asia and the rest of the world.

We took part in a press conference held by CCTV to make our new position official.

After this press conference, we went to Huangshan Stadium to watch the training sessions of wushu athletes and pompom girls.

In the end of our journey, we went to an orphanage where we tried our best to cheer up handicaped kids.

During the past few months I’ve been quite busy: First I went to Belgium,

Italy

and Nigeria

to host an international seminar about Chinese martial arts (Wushu). Then I went to South Africa

to promote Chinese movies by hosting a conference to put the light on the new generation of Chinese films. Finally I went to Guatemala to work on a new movie called “Commandos”…

Right now I’m working on organizing the second “African Culture and Tourism festival” in Beijing that will be held from September 3^rd to the 13^th in Beijing’s Solana. As I was given this opportunity, I also decided to organize the first ever “African Movie festival” in Beijing that will also take place in Solana during the same period… It’s a great opportunity to show the Chinese audience a part of the African culture and I really hope to see you there!
