• Perhaps a new path in Hong Kong

  Hello all~
  It's been quite some time since I've last updated...I think I pretty much abandoned this blog. lol! But anyways...lots has been going on lately, since I won the Miss Asian America pageant in August. These past few months, I've been attending many different events and functions here in SF and in LA. In my spare time, I just relax at home and chill with my friends. Also been eating a lot of good food, which is detrimental to keeping fit. Thus, I am back in my diet phase again!
  
  So...I'm about to embark on a new...journey, should I say, in my life. Going to move to Hong Kong in late December, to compete in the Miss Chinese International pageant. After that, planning to stay in HK for a year or two to pursue a career there, and see what comes of it. Except...i have so many mixed emotions on this move...cuz of so many things that I am leaving behind in America. Most importantly, all my family friends and loved ones. I dunno...it's such a hard move to make. I am moving to pursue my dreams, but yet...I am unsure if this move is right for me, if I am going to be sacrificing too much for this dream. In the end, will it be worth it?? I don't know...time will only tell.

• First week of summer

  First week of summer already almost over. Spent it a little productively I would say. The first couple of days were spent on job searching. Sent out 18 emails applying for english teaching jobs in Hong Kong, and one in GuangZhou so far. Will have to wait to hear for news. Hopefully people will want me...even though I don't have much teaching experience, or a TESOL.  Other times were spent on making phone calls to try to plan for what I'll be doing in 2 months. Still don't have a clear idea on what's actually gonna happen, which worries me and leaves me feeling kinda lost, which I don't like the feeling of. *sigh*
  
  Well so far, I've got 2 pageants ahead of me. Miss Asian America in August and maybe Miss Asia in September. After that, depending on whether I make the finals in hk, I shall be moving away from Cali. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and as hoped for. But you know the pageant world...you never know...
  
  The rest of the time, I just spend on watching dramas, singing, eating, and working out. Went to watch <Wall*E> today with Kate. Need to start hanging out with more people. Not really feeling the summer BREAK yet. But it sucks cuz it seems like no one is around in the bay area. Everyone's either at school, in Asia, or working. Quite bored these days.....well I still have many things to do if I ever feel like doing it, but we'll see.
  
  I just wish I could foresee the future.........

  Hey everyone!
  First day as an officially graduated college student and here I am starting an account here. Feels so good to be finally done with college. No more all-nighters spent on cramming for midterms/finals or writing papers! Yay =D It is also July 4th, which is America's Independence Day! Yay for fireworks~~
  
  So where is everyone from? I'm new to this site so would definitely like to make new friends =] I currently reside in the San Francisco bay area in California, but will be moving to either Hong Kong or GuangZhou, China in September to pursue entertainment. Quite excited =] Until then, just planning to treasure these last couple of months here in Cali with my family and friends.
