**Sorry, this is gonna be long, I think I needed to vent when I was writing it.**

...that I need to lay low and stop partying for a while. I bet my parents would be celebrating if they found out (which is why I'm hiding it from them). What leads me to think this is evident in the following picture. Check out my bad ass clubbing battle scar:

It's like my foot got in a bar fight haha. It looks like it's a little swollen too, but then again I also have short, chubby toes.

So this is how it all went down. I really wanted to go clubbing, especially since my mom wasn't gonna be home, so I tried recruiting people to come out with me. It worked out perfectly too because my friend from San Diego was visiting. One of my other friends suggested Element so I put our names on guestlist there and also at another relatively new club called Sugar, through Asian promoters that I receive e-mails from. I would prefer not to go to an "Asian club" but I figured it would give us options. I lagged and didn't get to Element until around 11:30 and obviously guestlist was long closed by then, so we stood in a line that moved a couple steps every 20 mins. I mean literally 2 steps. Everytime we started to see movement in the line, we took two steps and then stopped. So we decided to check out Sugar. We got to Sugar and there was no line whatsoever. I tried asking about guestlist and all the guy could do was give us 2 discount tix for the 4 girls/2 guys we had. Fine, whatever, better than nothing right? We walked in and obviously, it was full of Asian people. The club isn't tiny, but it isn't huge either, and weirdly, it was kinda empty. When I spoke with the promoter before we went in, he attributed the emptiness to traffic and predicted that it would get packed later on but it never did. Uhh...yeaaaaah, it's not like there's never traffic on the 101 on a Saturday night. What an idiot. I really would not recommend this club. Crowd is ehhh...and so was the music.

Luckily, I was in good company so I still managed to make a good time out of it. But this mishap with my foot was really annoying. The first time it happened (yes, that's right, I got stepped on TWICE), I was walking back to the dance floor from the bar and some drunk girl was dancing recklessly as I walked behind her. She stomped on my foot and it hurt like a mutha! It hurt so much that I just reacted by elbowing her. This time, I didn't even do it on purpose, as a means of retaliation, either! It was completely by accident. Like it hurt so much that I just started flailing my arms trying to catch my balance because I just wanted to grab my foot and fall to the ground. I turned my head to see who it was and even with my elbow to her back, she was oblivious to what was going on (I thought it was a pretty mean elbow to her, I guess not.) And it was STILL throbbing for at least 5 mins after it happened. It was seriously the most painful getting-my-foot-stepped-on experience I've ever had. But eventually, I recovered and was able to continue with the dancing I so desperately wanted to get out of my system.

Later on, there was a group of girls who came into our dancing area, so a few of us started surrounding them and dancing with them in an effort to scare them away. And then, one of the girls stepped on my foot again. This time less painful, but I wasn't gonna have it, so I told her "Please, don't step on my toe." I gently escorted her out of my space and she and her entourage walked away. Then, her fat b*tch of a friend walks over to my SD friend accusing my friend of having pushed her friend. My friend was completely dumbfounded because she wasn't even involved and didn't know what had happened. The girl walked away but was still hanging around and staring us down so I felt the need to explain that it was me and that I had merely asked her friend to not step on my toe. It was loud in the club so all I heard from her was "start shit" so I just said, "I'm not trying to start shit, your friend stepped on my toe and..." I was about to explain to her what if someone were to step on her foot and it hurt like a mofo, but suddenly, the girl who stepped on me, drunkenly came at our group like she was ready to "start shit" and I think I tried to intervene but from what I remember, someone tried to hold me back. One of my other friends, from high school, said the girl said something and then ran away. This is a little blurry because I thought this whole thing was so funny and stupid. When this all happened, I remember noticing she had her promoter badge on and I realized how lame it all was. Some representative she is...which makes me not want to support Friction ever again (the few parties of theirs I've been to haven't been all that great anyway). Seriously, what kinda promoter does that?! But yeah, it really pisses me off because after all that pain my foot had to endure, I was still being nice and polite about it. Usually, I can get belligerent (I guess I wasn't drunk enough then) and I'll start pushing people back and throwing 'bows when I'm getting abused on the dance floor, giving people a taste of their own medicine. Gosh, I am too classy for these dumbass Asian b*tches.

And to think, I wasn't even wearing open-toe shoes! Can you imagine what my foot would've looked like if I did? And although the second girl pissed me off more, I think most of the damage is from the first girl because it hurt so much. Even though I was wearing pumps, she still managed to step on an area on my foot where it wasn't covered by the shoe because if you can see from the pictures, she managed to break skin (on my pinky toe =[ waaah).

Ouch! That's pretty lame how a promoter was trying to start sh*t with you and your friends.

You'd never believe the crazy cat-fights that girls can start at clubs. The worst one I know of started out with some girl starting sh*t with another or something... then their boyfriends got all up in the others faces, then their friends jumped in, and it exploded into a huge fight that sent the entire club, and I mean EVERYONE (me and my friends included) screaming and running for cover from the flying glass bottles that were being thrown around. I remember huddling underneath some tables with my girl friends and being hella freaked out. The cops came and everyone ran out to the street... and a few weeks later the club shut down. Craziness!
