Two articles from newspapers about the competition and the winning band, Scamper's opportunity to perform at the Linkin Park concert in Macau on Sunday.

Thanks to Andrew Sun for this great article (only caveat - there were 22 bands that entered, not 30). ;-)

Great article about Scamper, unfortunately they left out the single most important part - HOW Scamper got the chance to open for Linkin Park. Doh!

that's because an article calling out for entries to the contest was already published when the contest was announced, and when the result came out, another article about the details of the contest was already published too, including the number of bands - 30. And that scamper article was deliberately done like that as it was their chance to get a full exposure ..... By this time it was pretty clear already they got it through a contest through the article published just one or two days earlier. Besides it was the talk of the town already as soon as it was announced they got it.
