Great article about Scamper, unfortunately they left out the single most important part - HOW Scamper got the chance to open for Linkin Park.  Doh! 

Linkin Park's show this past Sunday night at the Venetian Macao was a great success!  Some great photos from the show can be found on artist Eugene Yau's photo album page.

We wanted to give a quick update to the schedule for the Macau show.  Before this contest was announced, the LP start time was 7:30pm and that was printed on the tickets and fliers.  Because of the addition of the opening band to the line up, the door will now open 30 minutes earlier and the opening band SCAMPER will take the stage at 7:15pm, and LP has been moved back 30 minutes to 8:00pm.

There are still some upper level seats available for purchase online, if you haven't gotten your ticket yet.

Its been a busy 8 days of voting here!  The Band Search to find the act to play at Linkin Park's Macau Concert has finished the voting phase and the top five bands have been chosen! 

Over 3800 votes were cast and the contest page received over 17,000 visits since last Saturday.  Unfortunately only five bands get to go on to the next round - where one will be picked by Linkin Park to play a 30 minute set on stage at the Venetian's Cotai Arena on Sunday August 16th! 

The five finalists are (in order of votes recieved):

Linkin Park is on tour in Japan right now,  hopefully they'll have time to review the bands and let us know their decision ASAP.  We'll post the final result here as soon as its decided.
