The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.

The other day i was talking to a friend of my auntie. He was detected with Lymphatic cancer and i guess he is in medium stages..He underwent many Chemotherapy and medication that it physically took a toll on him..he began to have pain in gum, blister in mouth and terrible headache with fever...He began talking like that he is not gonna live long and and all daat stuff...I was taken back   and find difficult to respond back..I was in a state of shock not knowing wat to say??.......To tell someone that dey are gonna be fine is a bit unpleasant coz dey know wat condition dey are in....Well, i told him not to be worried so much and trust God..miracle happen everyday all around da world, right..??

    aww.. thats so sad.. ='(

your right surprises do happen all the time... My grandmother fought off cancer and strokes  like 30 years ago.. and she's still around to tell the tail.. She's healthy and all her motor skills work just fine..

In fact we were in a car accident like a month ago, and she is still strong as an ox.. So yes, telling your friend that he has a great chance at survivng is okay...

Just tell him to keep his head held high, and dont give up.. My grandmother told me that to her it was a mental thing... If you tell yourself you can do it, then you can... And thats what kept her alive.. (she didnt have any medications when she was hospitalized, she refused..)

Maybe that'll help lift both yours and your friends spirits...

My grandma has bowel cancer, there is nothing that they can do...and even if there was she is too old...they wouldn't bother and she left it too late anyway...she's 86 by the way...being the way most old people are they only go to the doctor if there is something really really wrong with them...she knew there had been something wrong for ages...but she thought it was inevitable because other siblings of hers had it too...she hasn't got long left to go before it claims her, so we are just trying to make her as comfortable as possible, despite the fact that she is experiencing pain...

I don't think there is much you can say to someone like that...cuz what can you say?

Lianng people are affected by chemo differently some see it as the beginning of the end...they feel sick, lethargic and depressed like they can't go on...it's not a pleasant experience...all you can do is assure them that it's to help them get better and it doesn't mean the end and it is giving them a chance to beat it...taking the fact that my grandma is old out of the equation, if she was given the choice to have chemo, she wouldn't have it anyway...not because she wants to die of cancer, but because "if i'm gonna get it i'm gonna get it, no point fight what's gonna come" that's the way she is and it pretty much extends from how she was bought up, my mum is the same...

*hugs and kisses* I hope your aunts friend pulls through ok ^_^
