  I ordered Bishonen on ebay last night.  I hope it is a "real" copy and not a bootleg, and that it comes and everything.  (I don't really trust ebay much.)
  
  It makes sense that it would be in the neighborhood that you say, because the things I have read in the queer theory film books on Bishonen say the film was shot in that neighborhood, in the "gay" district.

  By the way, I am trying to get a copy of the Bishonen DVD, but it appears to be out of print everywhere.  Right now, all I can do is read about it in the queer theory books I'm reading.  Too bad.  Having just watched Daniel Wu in The Banquet over the weekend, now I am curious to see him in Bishonen.

  Thank you and Simie for taking a close look at the credits from Bishonen.  I am certain that it is a real bar and/or club (if it was featured in one of the pick up scenes from Bishonen, then this would be a safe bet).  But it would be nice to get confirmation of this from someone in HK.  But, since the music video and the film were shot about the same time in the late 90s, and most of the HK members on AnD are young and not "out", it might be hard to get confirmation this way.

  Thank you for the reference for the bar, Nadia.  If it appeared in Bishonen, then it must be a gay bar, which is what I suspected, but wasn't sure about.
