As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and to tell you all that I am thankful for a God who loves me and has given me so many chances to do right even when I fail.  I ask for a spirit of forgivieness and a heart filled with love for all people.

Good morning!

The sun is coming up right now, and the sky is gold, orang, pink, and red.  Wow, beautifu!  It is Fall and a little chilly in the mornings now.  I think that the temperature is in the 40s.  I'm just having my morning coffee, washing some dishes, and planning what meal to make for my kids today.

I'm posting a picture of me and one of my dearest friends, Salma.  We were helping raise money for the United Way.

If I get a chance, I'm going to take some pictures of the colored leaves today and post them.

A Flower I am…

    Some of my petals are missing

           Some of my petals are torn

      Some are bruised

 Some are unrecognizable….

I Was your Flower

   My petals were not perfect but

          They were not torn

This morning, when I was walking my son's dog Abby, I saw something on the path that looked tiny.  I stopped to take a closer look and realized that it was a baby snapping turtle.  It was no more than 3 inches long from head to tail.  I picked it up and carried it closer to the river so no one would step on it.  As she and I walked, we found 2 more baby snapping turtles.  I carried both of them down closer to the river as well.
