Back from Hong Kong Jazz Festival

We had a great time playing at the Hong Kong Jazz Festival, especially the gig with Eugene Pao at the Backstage! Posted some pics of the festival gigs. Hoping to go back soon...

Hong Kong Jazz Festival

I'll be bringing my trio to Hong Kong in November as part of this year's Hong Kong Jazz Festival. The trio will also feature Steinar Nickelsen (organ) and Nicholas Mcbride (drums). Will also be playing a special gig at the Backstage Live with brilliant guitarist Eugene Pao. Really looking forward to it!

Lawrence Ku Trio: Sunday, Nov 16, Hong Kong Cultural Center Plaza, 2pm - 6pm, free.

W/ Eugene Pao: Monday Nov 17, Backstage Live, 9pm

coming to hong kong

i'll be in hong kong sunday aug 17th playing with the great singer (and my cousin) marsha yuan for her cabaret show at the backstage live club (www.backstagelive.hk). 2 sets starting 9pm, 180hk. we'll be joined by peter scherr on bass and nick mcbride on drums. check out marsha's site for more details.
