Just for the record, in case none of you seem to realize, I am a human being capable of cognitive reasoning, someone who actually has a brain between my ears that I actually happen to use.

I am not a sex toy.

I don't appreciate comments on my guestbook that suggest that, either.

The objectification and sexualization of women is something that I know we women have to deal with every day; very few of us actually choose to actively fight against it. Some of us actually think it's okay to be regarded as second class to men, to be objectified in this manner.

I find it disgraceful and it leaves an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. I don't appreciate those kind of sentiments, and will delete every and any comment that relegates me into that category.

Women as a whole exist to serve a purpose far greater than being an aggregation of body parts for male sexual gratification, and anyone who believes otherwise, male or female, can kindly remove themselves from reading this blog.

You know Kuri, you are utterly right.

People need to start paying attention to others for the thoughts in their heads and the personalities they have. This  goes for both men and women.

well, some women use that concept precisely to control & manipulate too, or even worst...

great to see a lady like you that's fight it and keeping it real to truly who you are!

(that said, women are still very difficult to understand for me, but without 'them', i and the rest of 'mankind' would be here~~  i'm sick of the 'sausage-fest' mentality in society as well, and i'm a man..)

    Well said.

It's disgraceful and great you are standing up to it.

I think male or female should not be under such objectification.

I hope your guest book will be without these comments in future.  Guest book should be nice and easy.

You are a beautiful and I am sure a very intelligent human being.

Happy 2009 and forget about these morans.  Take Care.

you go girl! Hey, what are you doing tonight? Okay I kid. But seriously I agree with you 100%. I haven't seen too much foolishness on and but then I'm not a woman. I've seen it plenty elsewhere though. Just be thankful most of these kids only grow balls behind a computer and you'll probably not have to hear it in daily conversation.
