Went down to Ang Siang Hill for the Smudge soft launch today. This is the first time I've ever done something like this so thanks to AnD for putting up the alert on this event. Here's me and my Smudge tee:

Love the rainbow colours of the logo and the capsleeves of the tee. But I went I guess mainly for the thrill of having first dibs on something! Course I like JJ's music too, but I am past the phase of mad obsession with musicians...it was interesting though to watch the queue of teen fans in front of the A.R.K House, some of whom apparently were there as early as 10.30am! Probably because the first 50 fans got a poster as well. But there's amazing stamina for you...Me and the poor/game friend I brought along got there about ten minutes to three, and then sat at the wine bar opposite for drinks and nachos waiting until it looked like they were letting people in. The ladies behind the bar wondered aloud about what was going on until we let them in on it (and it was them who told us some fans had 'camped' there since morning). Here are a couple of pics of the queue:

And here's the inside of the shophouse, where die hard fans stayed to sign 'good luck' messages. Apparently JJ turned up in person as a surprise afterwards, after we left! Argh! I couldn't stay for that though. (Sigh! But seeing that he is probably already taken by Charlene Choi it wouldn't have done me much good anyway. LOL.) Nonetheless it was fun being a small part of this.

Here's Beaujolais wine bar from which we watched the procession before we joined in...if you're ever along Ang Siang Hill, do drop in and order some nachos - the chili they serve them with is finger-licking good. They also serve wine (duh) and Stella Artois.

And here's a last look at the label. Hehe. =) Thanks AnD. And thanks JJ!

One question though. Is it only me, or does the Smudge logo look phallic??
