• District 9

  It's funny, a sci-fi produced by Peter Jackson is not gonna release soon in Hong Kong.
  District 9 - although the name is kinda not interesting, it's just boring as the other Area 51 thing or the parkour action-demo movie District B13 to me, after I take a deep look inside the trailer, I changed my mind.
  
  
  

  
  
  
  

  
  
  Director Neill Blomkamp must be a genius, otherwise he won't take on a big budget movie like this with his age (only 29 years old). I saw aliens, UFOs, robots and yes new perspective of alien monster scifi movies.

• day off blog - TRON LEGACY

  It's been a while didn't up here to update my blog, it's because I'm very busy with music crew 85up2. Yesterday night is our mixtpae release party, I should say it's successful and thanks for those who coming to our show. Actions from the show will be posted at our 85up2 blog here AnD within these few days.
  
  Today, I spend a couple of hours on web surfing to update what I've been missed out during the past 2 weeks. The event that caught my eyes is the Comics-Con 09', aside from the visual revolutionary - AVATAR, TRON LEGACY (previous TR2N) is my personal favourite in the show.
  
  In my presvious blog, I have posted a video regarding TRON LEGACY, during the time they still said it's a prove of concept, the whole project not even started yet... bu this year, they offically announece the movie will release in 2010, IMAX 3D.   One of the most fascinating thing from the original TRON must be their LIGHT CYLCLE, now they re-designed it, it's one of the most beautiful concept bike I've ever seen, Disney's marketing people made an actual replica in Comics-Con this year too:-
  
  
  

  
  
  It's totally a blast, the first thing to expect for the year 2010, except 85up2's full album release haha.

• Headache!

  Now, at this moment, I just found my schdule was like a mess, it's fully packed!!!!!!!
  The problem is my good friend Remus Ng aka NgSiuFat theatre directoral debut, 15th anniversary of my secondary school reunion party crashed on my scheduled trip to KL, I've been looking forward to both events, what should I do...

  Aside from the stress, a little introduction of my friend's production - "Moomin Cafe"
  A story reconstructed from the famous Moomin Valley stories, not simply an adaptation from the original story, they rewrite, re-build, re-think the relationships of the characters, we can see  different faces of different characters combine into one person, a time travel, time lapse and reconstructing space, I should say this must be one of the most exciting theatre production of the year, also with the imaginate illustration from another good friend 吳力 Wu Lik, if you are in townT__T, please support their work:
