• TOMORROW'S THE SHOW!!! FINALLY THE DAY'S HERE!!!

  yo ladies and gents,
  
  the day of the show is finally just 24 hours away...
  
  i know most of you probably don't listen to heavy music...much less care to come out to a show organized by heavy bands showcasing heavy bands...BUT, i hope you will at least have some interest at what a show is like that is organized by heavy bands themselves that features some of HK's heavy bands. aren't you curious at what the stage is going to look like? aren't you curious what the sound is going to be like? most of you hopefully have heard of this brand new venue that is on the second floor of the #4 ferry pier in Central - have you actually been down to see what it looks like? if you've seen it before...trust me, you'll never have seen it like it will be tomorrow night! :-)
  
  we don't have any big sponsors or big "media" support because after all we're just underground bands...but that hasn't discouraged us from really digging deep in our pockets to try and put something like this on. in our 9 years in HK, this is the most expensive show that we've ever organized. and of course, like anyone can attest, an expensive show doesn't guarantee a great show. what guarantees a good show are good bands, great atmosphere, positive vibes throughout the night. and that's what we're expecting right from the get go - great positive vibes right from those of us who're going to show up at 8am to set the stage and equipment up, to when we soundcheck, to when we play, and until the very end of the night when we tear everything down and clear the venue...
  
  we need you there...please spare us an hour or two to just come down and see and witness this, hopefully, memorable night...

• FEB 23 SHOW is going to rock your ass silly! :-)

  Big thanks to the crew of alivenotdead for hooking up that awesome banner on the site to help us promote this show! This show is our label (Start From Scratch Records) first show for the new year and we're planning for it to go OFF!!! We've rented so much equipment for the show, have to put up our own stage, and generally bust our asses FROM SCRATCH to put this show on!!! We hope you guys will take the time to come out to at least just check out what all our hard work is going to be all about...
  
  We're INSANELY psyched about this show because of all the people that have come together to work their asses off to make this go OFF!!!
  
  Also, I'm here to announce our label's SECOND show of the year which will be on March 21 featuring a US "nintendocore" band called Horse the Band. Yes you read that right - NINTENDOCORE?!??! What the hell is that I hear you asking...Just come to the show and find out! :-)

  See you all on Feb 23rd at a show that we've organized with our brothers in Shepherds the Weak! The show is taking place at a venue called "Pier Pressure" which is located on the second floor of the Lamma Ferry Pier #4 in Central (no - you don't have to go to Lamma Island! hahahaha). The show features a hardcore band from the Philippines called Piledriver and the following HK bands: King Ly Chee, Shepherds the Weak, The Lovesong, and Protoss.
  
  Tickets are available at the door for $120 and show starts 7:30pm
  
  See you all there!!! We'll be celebrating the release of our EP at that show!!! Unfortunately, our drummer Man is still fucked...so again, Shepherds the Weak's drummer Mike is going to save our asses, and we've got another friend Sun from one of HK's BEST death metal bands: Hermetic Silence will be rocking 4 songs with as well...

• Unite Asia EP responses have been incredible!!

  oh my gosh...feel quite overwhelmed with all the comments we've received about the free EP! the greatest ones have to be the one's on our myspace who say "thank you so much for making this free...it's so generous of you guys"! i don't know how to describe how i feel with everyone's encouragement for releasing something like this. much like most of you, i am MUCH MORE of a fan of actually having a CD because then i can check out the artwork and of course the lyrics. so i had my doubts of doing it like this, but in this day-in-age it's like the way to go. for all you die-hard CD types like myself, don't fret, when we release our new album at the end of 2008, it'll definitely be on CD!!!
  
  thank you again to everyone who has sent me SMS', emails, posted messages about this on their own blogs, myspace messages, etc...it's so rad to see all this support for an underground band from Hong Kong...especially a heavy screamy one like us..
  
  peace and see you on Feb 23rd where we'll be playing this entire EP! if we get enough people screaming to play the English version as well, then we might just have to do it! hehehehehe...
