I actually love reading books and when I was younger, I would read Goosebumps each and every day until I was banned from the school library -thanks a lot! Nowadays, it’s been years since I last glanzed at a book (not school-related). i’m too lazy to go down to the library. i’ll rather buy a book and have ownership of it, than return it after a month or so. So i’m a little behind, haven’t bought or read the latest HP book but with that said, I would love to buy some new books. I have four in mind.
I’m a huuuuuuuuge fan of Malcolm Gladwell and I loved his two books: The Tipping Point and Blink which I’ve probably read at least ten times… each! Last year, he wrote Outliers where he examines the factors that contribute to high levels of success. and last month, What The Dow Saw. I absolutely need to get my hands on those. I have read some reviews and my desire to own these books are solely based on those…. and the love I have for his previous books <3
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini is another book I want to read. I absolutely loved the movie and really really want to read the book.
And the last book is actually an economics book. I’m totally not diggin stuff like that but this one was interesting and really well-written (read: easy to understand!) I was introduced to this by my former teacher.
- Problem? YES! I promised myself not to use my credit card… this month! so far it’s going quite well.. one day and still counting. i will be using the coins in my wallet. eek!! the highlight will be when my nail polish and shampoo arrive…. will most likely end up ordering the books next month, thanks to free worldwide delivery!
[sorry for all the text and for not providing any links or photos! will update those whenever I'm feeling better]
