Gabriel achangel on the top of the Heroes Square: He was the one who appeared in a dream of Stephen I. He symbolises victory and glory. He holds the Hungarian crown and an apostolic cross.

This is the ancient bird of the Hungarians (according to legends of course.;)) its called: turul, but I can't find it in the dictionary in English. :( But I have picture of this statue in front view. :-) The historians still don't know if the ancient world 'turul' means: eagle or a hawk. But it's a big bird.:-) You know it shows:power. Typically hungarian tradition: We shows that we are storng, but actually we aren't. :S

It's one of the most famous church in Bp. According to legend St. Stephen I. established this church in 1015. But it was rebuilt as a gothic basilica in the 14th century. It is a bit old building. :D

The Parliament. Designed by Steindl Imre. The stile is very complicated: barogue, renaissance, and gothic too. It was being built for 17 years, began in 1885. And (I think) the Petőfi Bridge. It was ruined in the II world war, but rebuilt after it.
