  劉孝偉，教育及輔導碩士研究生，曾接受心理學、社會工作、沙維雅模式家庭治療、催眠治療、身心語言程式學(NLP)、整全治療、性格測試等多項專業訓練。十八歲出版第一本小說作品，一年後成為電影編劇，創作出《陰陽路》系列，廿三歲因自資拍攝獨立短片《少年犯》被賞識而成為導演，至今曾出版小說十多種，參與編、導、演的電影超過三十齣。近年主要致力於輔導、心理治療及教育的研究工作，期望將三者與創作結合，令新一代更關顧心靈健康。
