Kenji will appear in NHK drama "SAKA NO UE NO KUMO" as Eigo Fukai alongside Toshiyuki Nishida (Kenji's childhood star from SAIYUKI!). The drama starts from 2009 and total 13 episodes. Kenji will be in episode 10 (will be broadcasted in 2011, its a long way).

Kenji Watanabe was born in Japan. He is an actor / composer / pianist. Currently he lives in London.

Kenji was born in Uchiko town in Japan, where his mother's home town is.
At the age of 4, Kenji moved to Matsue (his fathers home town). And he began to learn the piano from his aunt at the age of 5.
Alongside his musical talent, he started acting in 1998 because his friend found Kenji's natural talent in acting. Since then Kenji has been doing Stage, Film, TV, Radio both in Japan and UK.
