Zhe Jiang is 5 hours by car away from Shanghai city. It is also the location for my recent KFC shoot. Once again I had a blast. A new collaboration with production house Godmother Productions was most enjoyable. Their efficient crew led by producer Mulan Yap was a joy to work with. Most of us spent 2 days in Zhe Jiang, except my art director who had to be there to oversee the construction of the cow shed. Not to mention sleepless nights battling bugs in his hotel room! The place reminds me of the "old" New Territories in Hong Kong. Mostly inhabited by farming communities, it is also the centre for name brand furnitures "copies"! Whenever I shoot at rural places I cannot help but admire their simple way of life. Clean air. Natural foods. No stress, except to dodge cow dung while walking! I'm doing post production in Shanghai for the lastest KFC spot. I had the pleasure of working with a different production house this time round - Godmother Productions. My thanks to the crew. They made it a very enjoyable shoot. Our location was in Zhe Jiang, 5 hours away from Shanghai city. I will post some production pics in due course.

I have just uploaded the KFC job I did in Shanghai. I am quite happy with the result but more importantly it was a very enjoyable job.
