That is very true about books and films, nicely put. I like the line from 'Forbidden Kingdom' you chose. I sometimes wish there was an old monk standing by me, knowing my next moves so he could deliver some wise advise before I jump into a pool of piranhas head first,metaphorically speaking of course. 'Forrest Gump' gave the world some great lines, I always remember the 'life is a box of chocolates' quote, I'm just fed up of getting the coffee one though!

Clouds look that way due to my complete disregard for foreground. Exposure was based on the sky with an emphasis on the sun. It is a scan from a slide I shot more than 20 years ago. There are photos I never forget shooting. I knew that one was great the moment I clicked the shutter. It doesn't happen often, but occasionally I have my moments.

OH! Don't remind me of Sacramone! I ranted and reeled around her for days. I totally pushed it out my head. The women's were disasterous. I got so confused. I think that was the first time I'd ever heard Tim Daggett sound pissed off even when he was competing. Not to mention the 40 (lol) year Chinese team. *pulling hair out again*

You know what? I think he wants it so bad that he psyches himself out. He's in his head. You can see it unlike say those Hamm twins. Not to take anything away from them, but there are superior gymnasts like Drag (my little nick.. imagine him in womens clothes.. wait for it.. there! you're welcome) who haven't learned to perform like it's your last and go big. Jumping over to women's I think Olga Corbett was like that. I loved her. I also think the changes in judging haven't helped him.

Thank you so much for going through my blog and for those wonderful comments :)
India is a very beautiful country.May be I will take a whole day if I start telling you about it's beauty.But unfortunately most of the western world shows only the dirty imgage of India.They makes movies like Slum dog Millionaire and City of Joy.Where they only shows the slums and dirty things with their own story.If they try to show those beautiful parts of India which are actually in maximum parts of India and those wonderful culture of India which all Indians are proud of then rest of the world won't have that kind of image about India like you had before seeing those pics on my blog.
Any time you come to India you can find different weather in different parts of India.You can find snow in some of the places even on the summer time.In very few countries you can find Mountain,dessert,forest,river,sea and all those natural things all together.The natural beauty you saw on my blog is nothing.India is much more beutiful than those pics.I am going to blog the 3rd part of my trip and you will see some more beautiful pics.
If you can then try to visit India some day.I am sure you will enjoy it.
The pattern you talked about is on a pashmina the one I have bought.It's really very soft.
