This was taken almost a year ago. It's one of my daughter's senior pics. I call it "Mom's Choice" because I asked my daughter to wear this outfit and I asked the photographer to take a black and white pic of her doing a back walkover. He did a really good job! This is not posed!!! This is an action shot of a back walkover.

The inspiration for this photo came from Gymnastics Balancing Acts by Christina Lessa -- beautiful pics of gymnasts in and out of the gym.

your daughter is very flexible...i envy her...i wish i was flexible...i cant even touch my toes anymore...its sad...i have pretty bad posture too so now i naturally bend at the back instead of the hips...

Hi JRS! Thanks for visiting my page. Your daughter is very talented. I used to do back flips when I was younger but not so much anymore...you'll probably get a cart wheel out of me and that's as far as I go :P I'm not sure where Pipestone, MN is...I'll have to check that out.

She's a frosh at the UW but only does gymnastics at home or in the student lounge at 3am or so (she doesn't like working out during normal times because she feels like she's showing off). *eye roll*

She also told me to get her home-made balance beam in the yard for when she comes home this Saturday!
