Check out my friend Wei Leng interview!
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
~Martin Luther King, Jr.
Did anybody else watch the royal wedding yesterday? I did - oohed, ahhed and shed a few tears. Here's a link to my students' performance of Romeo and Juliet last year. Check it out! Warning: sound on second video is super wonky - sorry.
So I mentioned I was singing at the Shanghai Expo with Opera Hong Kong in late October, and Vacheron Constantin sponsored One Night in Shanghai gala dinner. They have an amazing mansion on HuaiHaiLu! Lots of watches on display, and even a workshop!
I was recently in Shanghai to sing at the Expo, but didn't have the time (nor the energy for queuing) for China's pavilion. Luckily, it came to me!
